Tandem offers the popular Centurion D series electric gate motors for use at private residences. The A10 model is suitable for industrial applications and has a higher work rate and operational speed. All Centurion’s sliding gate motors feature smooth acceleration after setting off and deceleration when coming to a stop and include an anti-crush feature. Theft-resistant cages are available to protect the gate motors and our domestic models come complete with a 4-metre rack, a receiver, a battery and two remotes. Centurion’s R series are swinging gate motors and we can supply and install these too.
For security complexes with many residents, we often use our popular B1000 intercom keypad system but in this case, the gate motor is also fitted with a cellular unit. This system may be programmed with 999 cellular numbers and if it receives a missed call from any of those numbers, the gate opens. A visitor wishing to gain entry has to phone the resident on his or her cellular phone. The system caters for small complexes and carries no monthly costs.
